Our fosters will take in a pup or cat, get to know them and be able to tell us about their personality, qualities and tendencies. What is the difference between foster, trial and adopt?

• Foster- You are ready to open your home to an animal in need with no intention of adopting. You are prepared to love and care for them while they wait for their forever family.

• Trial- You are thinking you may like to potentially adopt the pet you are applying for. This allows the pet to be reserved for you for a 10-day trial while you get to see how they fit into your life. After the 10 days, you can either adopt the pet or decide to foster while they wait for their forever home. For this option, you will fill out the adoption application.
